Product Description
In Hinduism certain trees, plants and leaves are holy and auspicious which carries their importance. Out of which one is Bel Patra also known as Bilva Patra (Leaf). Like Tulsi is liked by Lord Krishna, Lord Shiva likes Bel (Bilva) Patra and devotees offer Bel (Bilva) Patra to Lord Shiva. According to Skanda Purana, Bel (Bilva) tree was formed out of sweat drops of Goddess Parvati which fell on Mandrachal Mountain.
It’s a belief that Goddess Parvati in all her forms resides in every part of the tree (leaves, Flower, Fruit, Branches, roots, and others) Bel (Bilva) Patra is a symbol of Lord Shiva. It is difficult to understand the complete greatness of bel (Bilva) Patra and it knows to a limited extend. Some importance and significance are stated based on the shape of the leaf which is Trifoliate (having 3 leaflets together.)
Trinity as per Hindu belief it signifies Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Shiva
Trishula which Lord Shiva holds has three spokes.
Trinetra means three-eyed which is Lord Shiva.
Triguna means three Gunas (Satvik, Tamas, and Rajas). It is believed that the centre
part of the leaf which is bigger compared to others in bel (Bilva) Trifoliate leaf denotes
Satvik which reduces Tamas and Rajas.
Three Actions of Lord Shiva Creation, Preservation, and Destruction
