This is followed by one complete Rudra Path (Rudra Paath) on the Trimbakeshwar Shivlinga, along with a Tri-Dev Jal Abhishek, invoking the divine energies of Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh. This ritual phase takes around 30 to 40 minutes.
A Laghu Rudrabhishek is then performed, during which 11 Rudra Paths are chanted by 11 learned Brahmins, creating a highly charged spiritual environment. The total duration of the puja is approximately 3 to 3.5 hours.
The entire puja is performed inside the Trimbakeshwar Temple premises. As per temple regulations, devotees are not permitted to enter the Garbhagriha (sanctum sanctorum), and Sparsh Darshan (physical touch of the Shivlinga) is strictly not allowed.
